For my final project in the Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly, I built an app for my 10-year-high school reunion so my classmates can catch up with each other and learn about what they have been up to for the past 10 years.
I believe one of the biggest issues with the music industry today is proper documentation and transparency of credits. You can find who acted in what movie instantaneously with IMDB, so why should the music industry be any different? I don't think it should, so my team built a prototype app to begin solving this problem in an elegant way.
Planning an event can be difficult... and especially annoying when trying to gather a bunch of busy people. So I built an app to try and make it easier for people to find a time that works with everyone's schedule using Ruby on Rails.
How I built it. Why I built it. What I learned. What I still want to do to it. Where to play it.
As one of the premier high school music programs in the country, Chino Hills High School’s band website wasn’t accurately portraying their level of talent and professionalism. As a band kid through and through (not to mention a huge fan of their drumline) I was very excited to take on this redesign project.
This project was a take-home assignment for a job interview for a really cool company :) (wish I could say which company, but I can't... legal stuff). I was asked to take a picture of something, then recreate it with HTML/CSS and add a level of interactivity using vanilla JavaScript. I had a little too much fun with this one :)
A redesign project for a popular chain restaurant throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Oregon, and Florida.
A website design project for an amazing cause. BLOOM Development is a non-profit company who pairs determined young ladies with mentors who are successful in the industry the students are interested in to offer career/life advice.
A website overhaul project for an organization that hits very close to home for me.
My latest project. Check-check-check it out.
Gladly giving the drummer some.
This project made me hungry.
This website redesign project was a lot of fun, as Wayne is not only an icon in the music industry but an idol of mine as well while I was studying music.
